PASSENGER ASSISTANT/BUS ESCORT
(PART TIME POSITION MIDLETON/COBH BASED)
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE: -
* Relevant experience of working with people with disabilities
* A caring and professional approach to their work
* Work as part of a team and show flexibility in carrying out the
duties of the position
* Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Flexible with the ability to deal with unexpected events and
changing work activities
* Experience and understanding of Health and Safety
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to act on own initiative
DETAILS OF THE POST:
* The post is twenty five/thirty hours approx per week (2.5 hours
morning and 3.0 hours afternoon) working Monday through Friday
* Supervision of the people travelling on the transport and to and
from the Centres.
* Maintain a good working relationship with the driver of the
vehicle.
* Perform any other duties relevant to the position of Passenger
Assistant/Bus Escort which may be assigned to you from time to time.
* Observe confidentiality in all aspects of work
* This post is subject to a probationary period of 1 month.
* The successful candidate agrees to Garda Vetting
